Dan Norris is the author of The 7-Day Startup and his new book is all about creating content that people want to read. He’s written more than 600,000 words since 2008 and we wanted him to share with us a few of those words to describe what ambition means to him.

Here is what he had to say:

“To me ambition is a constant balance of ‘yes I’m grateful’ but ‘no I’m not satisfied’. There’s no point being so driven that you destroy everything else in your life. But you can’t be satisfied with the status quo either, or else you would have no drive for change or for achievement.”
