In any situation, the best thing you can do is the right thing; the next best thing you can do is the wrong thing; the worst thing you can do is nothing.” – Theodore Roosevelt

We asked former star of season 4 of ABC’s hit series The Bachelor for his definition of ambition.

Here’s what he had to say…

I believe that Ambition is imperative to success. I was raised to believe that I can do absolutely everything that I set my mind upon doing.  My Mother has always said, “If you can dream it, you can DO it!“. And it’s the truth! My thing is, I’ve got to get up and get going to accomplish it! I’m sure most people have heard the expression, “Do something, even if it’s wrong!” …As basic as that is, I believe that these elements have pushed me to strive for success in my life. The truth is, any action moving towards your goal, beats sitting around and contemplating it for too long. Sure, I want to properly plan for the things I want in my life – but I don’t want to waste time talking about it. I want to get after it and make it happen!

Introduced to America on ABC’s hugely popular hit The Bachelor, Detroit native, Bob Guiney has been in our living rooms ever since. Currently, Bob has been seen hosting Showhouse Showdown on HGTV as well as hosting the Game Show Network’s GSN LIVE, a daily live show, which combined talk, sketch & game, as well as GSN’s “Bingo Blitz”.

He’s also served as the Host for TLC’s Date My House, as well as handling all of ABC’s daytime comedic interstitial programming. Bob has held the spot as the primary field correspondent for the daytime chat fest The View, has handled ABC Super Bowl coverage & the Daytime Emmys, had countless appearances on Oprah, specials for E!, VH1 and the TV Guide Channel. He also sent us that awesome quote from Teddy Roosevelt.
