As a pet owner, it is a devastating sight when you see your puppy’s face as you head for the door, without their leash. They instantly give you these puppy eyes that scream, “Why are you leaving me?!” The feeling of guilt for leaving them in a sad state then haunts you. If only there were pet-friendly places that welcomed your four-legged friend!

Well you are in luck, because Tampa’s got a ton of them that happen to be pretty darn good.

Below is a list of 20 Tampa Bay area restaurants that allow your beloved K-9 to join:

1. Datz

2616 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33629

At Datz it is bacon that is their religion. It is worshipped like the god of flavor that it is — a treat your K-9 will surely appreciate. You can find anything from sweet to savory on their menu. Dine here for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is so good you’re going to want to stay all day.

2. Cassis American Brasserie

170 Beach Dr NE, St Petersburg, FL 33701

(727) 827-2927

You don’t have to cross the Atlantic to appreciate French cuisine. Cassis understands the importance of excellent service, even when it comes to waiting on your furry companion. Your dog gets it’s own water bowl and has many food options on their very own dog menu. Your dog will have plenty of choices, such as the Mutt Loaf or the Arrf El Tower. This is a guarantee treat so sit back, relax with a cocktail and Bone Appétit.
